OBJECTIUS
- En aquest bloc l’alumne començarà la transició de B1 a B2.
- El contingut és funcional i es centra completament en la millora de la independència dels estudiants en tots els àmbits, especialment en situacions de la vida real, el treball i l’oci, la casa i la llar, pel·lícules i accions habituals, etc.
- En aquest bloc l’alumne continuarà notant una major confiança quan s’enfronti a funcions bàsiques i podrà llegir un diari anglès i americà amb poca dificultat, seguir les converses en anglès amb parlants nadius i participar en intercanvis més complexos.
- En termes d’estructures gramaticals hi haurà una revisió contínua i extensió d’estructures amb èmfasi en parts de la llengua com ara phrasal verbs , expressions idiomàtiques i les diferències entre vocabulari britànic i americà.
- Pel que fa als altres blocs del curs, hi ha una pràctica de pronunciació freqüent i l’alumne practicará sons llargs i curts, corregir els finals regulars passats, parells mínims, elisió, així com la pràctica general de vocabulari.
- El nivell es compon d’una sèrie d’exercicis interactius com l’associació de la imatge de paraules, la comprensió d’escoltar amb diàlegs curts i realistes i la pràctica d’escoltar amb els elements del vocabulari.

TEMARI:
Unit 1
In this unit students learn:
- To discuss habitual actions, actions in progress and to express tastes, likes and dislikes,
- To talk about hobbies and activities for the free time,
- Expressions such as: to be keen on, to have a rest, to get ready and to catch up on.
Unit 2
In this unit students learn:
- To narrate habitual actions in the past as well as past situations,
- Common expressions such as: in laws, to look forward to something, for ages, why on earts etc.
- The difference between past simple and past continuous and use of while and when,
- How to use used to.
Unit 3
In this unit students learn:
- To discuss the recent past talking about travelling and tourism,
- To plan a holiday,
- Differences between British English and American English,
- Expressions such as: lucky you, you´re telling me!, what I mean to say is etc.
- How to use present perfect tense with adverbs: already, yet, still, just and ago.
Unit 4
In this unit students learn:
- To express intent, movement and make predictions, plans and appointments.
- Common expressions such as: I’m afraid so/not, on hand, help yourself, to fill in a form or night on the town,
- Verb tenses for the future: will, shall, going to as well as present continuous,
- How to make suggestions with shall.
Unit 5
In this unit students learn:
- To give and receive permission, advice and express prohibition, obligation or the lack of it,
- Common expressions related to daily housework such as: do the shopping, water the plants, feed the animals, sort out papers, lay the table, do homework etc.
- Modal verbs: must, have to, can’t, needn’t, can, may, ought to, should, neet to etc, and their functions.
Unit 6
- This unit is a revision and extended practice of the modal verbs studied and in the previous unit and the vocabulary about the housework
In this unit students also learn:
- Vocabulary to talk and describe the parts of the house, furniture and home appliances.
Unit 7
In this lesson students practise:
- The contents of the levels through a variety of exercises and activities,
- Their spelling skills through a dictation,
- Listening comprehension: experiences of a couple who need to go to the doctor while they are on holiday.
Students also learn:
- To talk about sports and health benefits they bring,
Unit 8
In this lesson students:
- Take part in a stypical situation about a race, another about cultural differences and the third one at the doctor’s.
- Interact in a real life situation at work,
- Learn how to book a business trip,
- Talk about free time,
- Read and listen to a story of a young English entrepreneur who opened a successful hotel chain.
